time:matters expands in China

   Lufthansa Cargo’s time:matters company has expanded its network to Shanghai and Hong Kong, offering faster transport times and speedier customs clearance.
   With the expansion, the company hopes to tap into far-flung destinations in China.
   Using partner airlines instead of flying to key Chinese hubs and then transporting goods by truck, time:matters can connect China’s growth regions to Europe in a shorter amount of time.
   “Our customers have very high standards for modern premium logistics solutions. In addition to the sheer speed, elaborate routes to rather remote destinations are becoming increasingly important – especially in Asia,” time:matters’ Chief Executive Officer Franz-Joseph Miller said in a statement. “That’s precisely what we provide with our solutions for the Chinese market and, in doing so, enable our customers and their end customers an even better, faster and more reliable service.” – Jon Ross
