TMM LINER DIVISION REORGANIZES IN MEXICO

   TMM’s liner division is reorganizing its Mexico sales and customer
service operations, naming a new senior sales team for TMM and TMG Mexico and integrating Tecomar into TMM.
   Tecomar’s services will be marketed under the TMM brand name and will be integrated into TMM schedules.
   Tecomar’s sales and customer service departments will be folded into
TMM’s in a restructured organization.
   Miguel Garcia has been named vice president, TMM Mexico. Arturo Funes is now TMM’s sales director. Ricardo Diep, formerly sales director at Tecomar, has been appointed TMM liner division’s sales director for North Europe and the Mediterranean.
   "Though Tecomar had a good reputation, it was also a small line," Garcia
said. "Integrating it with TMM will allow us to operate more efficiently
while still retaining the personnel who provided the expertise that was the
line’s hallmark."
   TMM liner division, TMG and Tecomar are part of the management company Americana Ships.
