SaaS software provider’s news Ceylon platform is designed to provide greater planning, reporting and collaboration capabilities than previous versions.
The software-as-a-service transportation management system provider Eyefreight on Monday released a new version of its TMS product, dubbed Ceylon.
The new version is designed to provide greater planning and reporting functionality for users, the company said. Specific enhancements include: better collaboration on shipment planning (with third parties now able to make updates to the shipment on behalf of the shipper), real-time GPS integration and map visualization, and reporting capabilities using MicroStrategy.
