Trimble has announced that David Wangler, president and CEO of TMW Systems, passed away on April 26. Wangler had been president of TMW for 12 years, taking over in May 2006.
“Dave was a long-time contributor to the transportation and logistics industry. He consistently represented a unique combination of integrity and a visionary’s belief in the benefits of technology. Dave established a standard of excellence for TMW and Trimble,” parent company Trimble said in a statement.
Bryn Fosburgh will assume responsibility for TMW Systems, Trimble said. Fosburgh has been with Trimble for more than 30 years.
Prior to his time at TMW, Wangler served as president & CEO of SupplyWorks and held positions with Baan and Skyva International.
“Dave combined vision with a deep knowledge of the transportation domain and was integral to Trimble’s leadership in the transportation market. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his family, colleagues and friends. He will be greatly missed,” said Steven Berglund, president and CEO of Trimble.
