TMWSuite integrates with ReeferTrak

   Transportation management software provider TMW Systems has continued on its integration trek by adding support with the implementation of StarTrak’s ReeferTrak application with its TMWSuite.
   StarTrak Information Technologies, a subsidiary of ORBCOMM, said its ReeferTrak application can be integrated with the TMWSuite to provide for-hire carriers and private fleets with the ability to capture more real-time data from refrigerated trailers, including metrics like GPS position, operation condition, and temperature.
   While the companies first combined efforts through the joint customer Lessors Inc., TMW Systems confirmed the StarTrak interface is now available as a general release for any customer.
   In the application for Lessors, ReeferTrak monitors and delivers a large set of data for refrigeration units, covering specified events, alarms, and statuses largely around temperature controls, locations, fuel levels, and controller alarms. The TMWSuite takes all of this reefer-specific data and supplies it via a single user screen for monitoring.
   Through its recently acquired StarTrak Information Technologies and StarTrak Logistics Management Solutions (formerly PAR Logistics Management Solutions), ORBCOMM now provides tracking, monitoring, and control services for the refrigerated transport market.
