TNT completes TG+ takeover
Dutch mail and global logistics provider TNT has completed the acquisition of Spanish domestic distribution company TG+. No financial details were disclosed.
TG+ was established after the 2003 merger between Transcamer and Gomez. It employs about 950 staff and owns 22 depots. TG+’s previous majority shareholder was the private equity and venture capital company 3i.
“The acquisition adds a strong presence in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, fashion and electronic sectors, and reinforces TNT’s firm foothold in key sectors such as automotive, biomedical, high tech and industrial,” TNT said.
