TNT Express expands freight service

   TNT Express has expanded its Express Freight service to 10 additional countries, bringing its global coverage to 80 countries. The expansion includes business locations in North America, and the company said customers shipping to the Middle East and South America will also benefit.
   “Offering Express Freight to more destinations internationally gives customers additional options: more delivery locations, faster shipping for freight and all the benefits of Express,” stated Jan Willem Breen, global director of marketing and strategy.
   With its Express Freight service, TNT offers customers with shipments weighing less than 1,100 pounds transit times of less than three-days, collection on the same day, and door-to-door distribution.
   TNT said the expansion will benefit importers and exporters in all industry verticals. In North America, the extended coverage includes additional business locations in New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.
