TNT POST WILL BUY LASON UK GROUP
The TNT Post Group NV, based in Amsterdam, a Dutch postal, express and logistics company, has signed a letter of intent with Lason Inc. to acquire Lason UK Group, which specializes in data capture and database management services.
Lason Inc. said the sale fit its strategy of focusing on core markets in North America.
No financial details were given. TNT Post Group said the acquisition will expand its mail and distribution services in Europe.
TNT Post Group also owns CTI Logistx, a logistics provider in the U.S.
