Toll sells Pacific National rail network to Australia government

Toll Holdings Ltd. has sold its Pacific National railway network to Australia’s regional Victorian government for A$133.8 million ($103.7 million).

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission made Toll’s divestment of the railway a stipulation of its agreeing to the takeover of Australian ports and airport operator Patrick Corp., who jointly owned the rail network with Toll.
