Tompkins names Pyne VP
Global supply chain firm Tompkins Associates has appointed Tim Pyne to vice president of retail, consumer and food.
'We have focused on these industries for decades, but as 'supply chain' becomes more of a hot topic in boardrooms around the world, we want to ensure that these companies are aware of the resources available to maximize their supply chains,' said Jim Tompkins, president and chief executive officer.
Before joining Tompkins, Pyne held an array of supply chain and logistics jobs at Hudson's Bay Co., Sobeys, Exel, and Tibbett & Britten Group. He has also served as the director of distribution for Lumsden Brothers Ltd. and Oshawa Foods Ltd.
