TPL RENEWS CONTRACT WITH WTS AGENCIES

TPL RENEWS CONTRACT WITH WTS AGENCIES    Trans-Pacific Lines, the Hong Kong-based ocean carrier, has extended its contract with WTS Agencies to handle all of its bakcrom agency services through May 2003.
   WTS Agencies, previously the North American liner business of Inchcape Shipping Services, provides customer service, documentation and equipment, along with logistics control and management, and sales and systems support for TPL throughout North America.
   TPL also uses WTS Agencies' operating system, known as WTS, as well as its Internet-based application WTS-I, for self-service customer transactions, including instant bills of lading, cargo tracking, invoices and vessel schedules in Asia and North America.
   WTS Agencies is based in Virginia Beach, Va.
