TQL opens office in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Cincinnati, Ohio-based transportation and logistics firm opened an office in Daytona Beach, Fla. last week.    Total Quality Logistics (TQL), a Cincinnati, Ohio-based transportation and logistics firm, opened an office in Daytona Beach, Fla. last week, the company said in a statement.
   The new facility will create 100 new jobs and a capital investment in Volusia County of approximately $565,000, according to Governor Rick Scott.
   The Daytona Beach expansion was made possible through partnerships between Enterprise Florida, Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, CareerSource Florida, Volusia County and Team Volusia EDC, TQL said.
   In Florida, the transportation and logistics firm already had operations in Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. TQL currently employs nearly 450 Floridians across the state.
   In addition to the new Daytona Beach office, the company will add a new carrier services division to its operations in Tampa, Fla., which is expected to create up to 200 jobs.
