TQL to open first Utah office in Salt Lake City

Cincinnati, Ohio-based third-party provider Total Quality Logistics will open its newest sales office in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 8, the company said in a statement.

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) will open its newest sales office in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 8, the company said in a statement.
The Salt Lake City office will be TQL’s first in the state and its 53rd office nationwide. With the addition of the new facility, the Cincinnati, Ohio-based third-party logistics provider will now have offices in 23 states.
The new office will open with a founding team of five current TQL employees, as well as several more from its first hiring class prior to opening. TQL said it plans to bring 50 to 75 new jobs to the city over the next three years.
“We welcome Total Quality Logistics to Utah,” Governor Gary R. Herbert said of the announcement. “We congratulate them on their rapid expansion, and know the state’s skilled workforce and business-friendly environment will be a benefit in their new strategic location.”
“Every time we open in a new city and state, we have an opportunity to better serve our customers and build on our leadership role in the logistics industry,” added TQL president Kerry Byrne. “We’re looking forward to opening in Salt Lake City and expanding our footprint across the country.”
