Trade experts addressing annual outlook luncheon

Trade experts from the Bush administration will be joined by experts on Western Hemisphere economic issues will address the annual Outlook on the Americas luncheon of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its regional affiliate for the Americas Jan. 24 at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

   Christopher Padilla, U.S. Commerce Department undersecretary for international trade, and Craig Kelly, State Department principal deputy assistant secretary for the Western Hemisphere, will be joined by James Roberts, Heritage Foundation research fellow for economic freedom and growth, and Susan Kaufman Purcell, director of the Center for Hemispheric Policy at the University of Miami.

   The U.S. Chamber is holding the luncheon in conjunction with the Miami-based Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America. The event runs from noon to 2:30 p.m.
