Trade Tech unveils Mexico manifest tool Supply chain technology company Trade Tech has introduced a new Internet-based application for dealing with Mexico's new 24-hour Advance Manifest System that comes online Sept. 1.
   The new application, Mexico Cargo Security Filing, was created for freight forwarders and intermediaries, ocean carriers, and shippers who will be implementing the new manifest rule.
   The new product allows the parties involved in a shipment to use transmit information taken from a bill of lading, from names and addresses of shippers and consignees to details of specific shipments such as merchandise descriptions and volumes, and get that to the needed parties online.
   According to the company, it is the only alternative to filing directly through Mexico's Asociaci'n Mexicana de Agentes Navieros (AMANAC).
