Trade Technologies opens in Canada

Trade Technologies, a global provider of international trade document solutions, has opened a new sales office in Vancouver to further its relationships with Canadian exporters.
The new center will be managed by Winney Chow, who has more than 15 years in trade finance and exports.
From its 12 offices in Asia, Europe and North America, Trade Technologies provides exporters, freight forwarders, and international trade banks with trade documentation solutions, training and consulting. The company’s global trade management platform allows companies to automate processes and eliminate discrepancies and manual operations around international letters of credit, documentary collections, and open account transactions.
“Canadian commodity exports to Asia have dramatically increased over the last two years and the long distances between many Canadian exporters and their bank offices make our automated trade documentation solution extremely valuable for accelerating payment and reducing risk,” said Kirk Lundburg, chief executive officer for Trade Technologies, in a statement.
