TRADE-VAN, BOLERO.NET FORM PARTNERSHIP
Trade-Van Information Services Co., a Taiwan business information exchange, and bolero.net have formed a partnership in which Trade-Van will provide access to the bolero.net system, which administers online services that create a paperless environment for trade comprehensive online trading solutions.
Trade-Van is owned by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance and eight leading corporations own the company. Nearly all customs clearance in Taiwan goes through the Trade-Van network. The network links customs, brokers, government agencies, forwarders, warehouses, logistics companies, importers/exporters and banks.
Bolero.net, launched in September 1999, provides secure electronic transmission of business data and documents along the entire trade chain. Its membership includes a range of major banks, container shipping companies and multinational corporations.
