Technia supplies the Nordic region with a product lifecycle management system.
The partnership will extend TradeCard’s growing presence in Europe and facilitate the delivery of its cloud-based supply chain service. The company said Technia’s local knowledge will help it secure more customers and investment in the region.
TradeCard’s customers in the region currently tend to include training, education and trade partner activation industries. The company currently has more than 10,000 customers on its network in 78 countries. The company said its headcount in Europe quadrupled in 2011 and is projected to double again in 2012.
Technia, based in Kista, Sweden, has more than 200 customers and has been part of the Addnode group since 2004. In January Technia made its first entrance into the Japanese market by partnering with Tokyo-based DOME, the official Japanese licensee of the U.S.-based athletic performance brand Under Armour.
