Trailer Bridge, Inc., the U.S. mainland/Puerto Rico
operator, confirmed that it has split its former New York/Jacksonville/San Juan service
into two separate direct services.
Since last month, ships of the "Triplestack Box Carrier"
service sail direct between New York to San Juan, providing fortnightly sailings, instead
of weekly previously.
The transit time from New York to San Juan has been reduced to 5 days.
From Jacksonville, a second TBC loop provides a weekly Jacksonville/San
Juan/Jacksonville service.
Trailer Bridge also operates another weekly service between
Jacksonville and San Juan, using roll-on/roll-off vessels.
