Transact expands Afghanistan charters

Transact International, a New York-based logistics services provider also known as Transact Intermediaries, has begun its first non-military cargo charter service into the Shindand Air Base in Afghanistan.
The service is part of Transact’s overall Middle East focus and follows similar operations into Afghanistan at the Bagram and Kandahar air bases.
Transact’s President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Anderson said the company is building out these offerings after its success with military support operations. The company expects to surpass $80 million in revenue this year.
Transact offers service from New York’s JFK Airport to Sharjah and Dubai with on-forwarding flights into Afghanistan.
