TransForce adds Canadian driver pool

The staffing company has acquired assets of K.A.S. Personnel Services, a provider of commercial truck drivers and other transportation personnel.    Staffing company TransForce said it has acquired the assets of K.A.S. Personnel Services, a provider of commercial truck drivers and other transportation personnel based in Mississauga, Ontario. It is TransForce’s sixth acquisition in the last 36 months, but its first international acquisition.
   The move helps TransForce, which is owned by private equity firm Palladium Equity Partners, provide drivers to U.S.-based trucking companies engaged in cross-border operations.
   TransForce customers include motor carriers, third-party logistics providers and private fleets.
