Transporeon upgrades mobile order management

The transportation management software provider launched a new version of its mobile order management application, allowing shippers to tap into drivers’ smartphones for paperless dispatch and real-time ETAs.

The transportation management software provider Transporeon Group said Monday it has made available a new version of its mobile order management application.
The update links a driver’s smartphone, via the mobile application, to the shipper for paperless dispatch and real-time visibility through delivery, the company said. Enhancements include flexibility in receiving real-time status messages, digital documentation and estimated time of arrival even if the service provider is “outside the Transporeon ecosystem.”
“We appreciate that companies have varying needs and are at different stages of digitalization,” said Harald Varel, head of product management at Transporeon. “That’s why our multilingual solution includes full integration, onboarding and support in 25 languages for shippers, carriers, sub-contractors and drivers.”
Customers using the mobile order management solution include international construction materials manufacturer Knauf and multinational steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal.
