Jones was elected to a two-year term through 2008, and succeeds Stewart Sankar, who remains on the association's executive council.
Jones is a superintendent of terminal operations for National Energy Corp. of Trinidad and Tobago, Ltd., a subsidiary of the National Gas Co. of Trinidad and Tobago.
Other executive council members are:
* Rhett Chee Ping, vice president.
* The association's Group A officers are Terrance Prayag, chairman; Darwayne Belcon, vice chairman; and Richard Jiminez, trustee.
* Group B officers are Graeme Percival, chairman; and Colin Young, vice chairman.
* Group C officers Paul Taylor, chairman; Michael Laughlin, vice chairman; and trustees Ian Deosaran and Hayden Hill.
