Triton, FPS Rotterdam to launch LCL import service

   Triton Overseas Transport and FPS Rotterdam will launch a weekly LCL import service Nov. 15 from to Port of Rotterdam to the Port of Houston.
   The service will connect Europe to Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
   “We are very excited to launch the new import service from Europe,” Triton’s chief executive officer, William Onorato, said in a statement. “Over the past 19 years, Europe has been one of our longest-standing LCL trade lanes. We have secured a strong position as a reliable importer from the region and are eager to offer a regular schedule of sailing to our customers. Seated in the Gulf of Mexico, we will utilize our location to offer our customers fast, reliable transportation and will work with FPS Rotterdam to provide smooth consolidation and quick-turnaround on rates.”
