TROPICAL SHIPPING, KESTREL LINER AGENCIES FORM ALLIANCE
Tropical Shipping, a container shipping line in the Caribbean, has formed an alliance with Kestrel Liner Agencies, Tropical’s general sales agents for Europe since 1999, to provide full and less-than-containerload to and from nine Latin American venues.
The service extends to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Puerto Rico.
Kestrel Liner Agencies will assume all sales and operations for those markets. Tropical will provide consolidation and warehousing services at its Miami facility.
Tropical Shipping, based in Riviera Beach, Fla., is owned by Nicor.
