Tropical Shipping parent in merger deal
Nicor Inc., parent company of Tropical Shipping said its board has agreed to merge with AGL Resources. The main business of both Nicor and AGL is natural gas distribution.
Last year, Tropical moved 176,600 TEU. It has a fleet of 14 ships that operate between 25 ports in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
