The rate hike will apply to the Family Islands, March Harbour, and Nassau. In addition to shipments between those locations and the U.S. mainland, the GRI will apply for moves from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well.
The rate hike will be $100 for 20-foot containers, $200 for 40-foot containers, and $240 for 40-foot dry/reefer containers. Details on the rates for other cargo breakdowns are available at www.tropical.com.
