Tropical Shipping releases holiday schedule

Tropical Shipping says that in observance of Labor Day, its U.S., U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico terminals and offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, and departures to Nassau and Freeport, Bahamas will be cancelled that day.

   Tropical said documentation cutoff times for Tuesday, September 5 departures to Nassau and Freeport, Bahamas would be amended, with full container load cargo cutoffs at 3 p.m. Friday, September 1 and FCL documentation cutoffs that day at 5:30 p.m.

   Cutoffs for receiving less-than-containerload at Riviera Beach will be noon on Friday, September 1, with a noon documentation cutoff.

   Consolidating receiving in Miami will be noon on Friday, September 1 for cargo, with a noon documentation cutoff.

      Tropical said customers should also note that frozen and chilled LCL cargo destined for Nassau will sail on Wednesday, September 6. Deliveries to Port of Palm Beach Cold storage facility will be accepted on Tuesday, September 5, until 4 p.m.
