Blows me away to think any company can run under these rates. mega companies or small companies.

Makes me wonder who is really dictating these kind of rates, Freight waves – DAT ect.. the ones who put it out there that rates are at a all time low. especially when the economy is where it’s at.
For example; Ch Robinson uses DAT to quote the rates to the carriers. FACT
I wonder if Freight waves were to post rates were on the up and kept pushing that would it go up.
FYI fuel prices jumped, Ins premium jumped, maint prices jumped, driver pay jumped, carrier expenses jumped But, rates DROPPED. Do the math………….STOP HAULING CHEAP FREIGHT.
