    Hello ,
I have been in the transportation industry for 40 years and some of the freight we have to haul is the the same rates we were hauling for back in the eighties. I believe these brokers should have a minimum to pay of 2.00/mile and a footage chart like 125.00/ ft. And anything above that the broker can take their cut vs trying to see how cheap can I get this shipments moved for? This is just bad business and I think the broker should be audited and fined for not following the rules. While this is going on everyday the broker makes all the money and the poor trucker can barely put fuel in his truck and forcing these companies out of business! Also I there are new brokers popping up everyday I also think there should be stricter rules for new brokers vs getting a brokers license and start stealing people’s freight to make a dollar this has really hurt the industry as well!!!

    Thank you

Why has it the prices in the grocery stores hardware stores or any manufactured goods dropped on the transportation has gone so low of all the products that are being shipped the price of milk eggs bread or anything else have not reduced like the freight rates have if it’s not the brokers and why are we paying the same price is for all our good Before the pandemic started
