TSA raises Panama Canal surcharge
Ocean carriers of the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement will raise their Panama Canal surcharge from $115 to $165 a box, effective May 1.
The increase reflects a change in the way the Panama Canal Authority assesses its fees for container vessels, resulting in higher charges to carriers, a spokesman for TSA said.
