TSAÆS JOHNSON TO BE KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT WESCCON

Mark Johnson, deputy undersecretary for maritime and land security for the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, will deliver a keynote speech at the Western Cargo Conference in Las Vegas on Oct. 24-27.

“As TSA is at the forefront of the president’s international cargo security initiatives, the opportunity for a dialogue between customs brokers, freight forwarders and the trade community with TSA is particularly timely this fall, when the new cargo procedures are being introduced,” said Robert Coleman, president of Total Logistics Resource, and chairman of the Pacific Coast Council (PCC) of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association.

The PCC, which sponsors the annual WESCCON event, is comprised of the five local U.S. West Coast broker/forwarder associations: San Diego, Los Angeles, Northern California, Columbia River and Washington state.
