Two longtime Longview port executive retire

The Port of Longview has announced the recent retirement of two longtime employees.

   Diane Manasco, the port's director of information services, retired in June after 30 years with the port.

   Manasco started with the port as a computer programmer in 1977, advanced into the position of programmer/analyst, and in 1989 was promoted to director of information services.

   Jennifer Brown has been promoted to fill Manasco’s position.

   Patty St. Onge, the port's coordinator of bulk cargo and another 30-year veteran of the port, retired in July. Hired in 1977 as a keypunch operator, St. Onge became an account supervisor in 1985 and was promoted to bulk cargo coordinator for the operations department in 1989.
