A typhoon has stranded the Ville de Capella, a
containership operated by CMA-CGM, in the port of Hong Kong.
The 3,538-TEU vessel operates between Asia and the Mediterranean as
part of the "MEX" service of CMA-CGM and Norasia.
CMA-CGM said that it will discharge containers off the ship to free the
vessel. Attempts to use tugs to pull the ship have failed, by new efforts are under way to
release the ship Wednesday, a company spokesman said.
