U-Freight moves Hong Kong headquarters, appoints new CEO
U-Freight has moved to new headquarters in Hong Kong and appointed a new chief executive officer, Simon Wong.
The large Asia-based forwarder now has a 16,000-square-foot office in Kowloon with high-speed optical fiber telecommunications systems. Its headquarters will house U-Freight’s sales, accounting, customer service and administration teams, as well as staff from the company’s non-vessel-operating common carrier unit, U-Ocean.

Operations staff from U-Freight’s various companies in Hong Kong will continue to work out of the group’s freight, logistics and warehousing facilities.
Wong joined U-Freight 17 years ago and has worked for the company in both North America and Asia.
U-Freight said its new executive management team comprises Wong as CEO; Danny Chau, chief operating officer; Steve Tse, chief financial officer; and Amy Wong as vice president of administration and training. The management team reports to the board of directors of U-Freight Holdings Ltd.
