U.S. drops Bulgaria, Romania from GSP
The United States has removed Bulgaria and Romania from its list of countries eligible to obtain duty-free status on certain goods approved under the Generalized System of Preferences.
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative said both Eastern countries lost their GSP privileges when they officially joined the European Union on Jan. 1.
