U.S. GULF/SOUTH AMERICA CARRIERS SET UP DISCUSSION AGREEMENT

   Industrial Maritime Carriers (U.S.A.) Inc., operating as Intermarine, and Associated Transport Line, L.L.C. and have filed an agreement with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission to set up the “Gulf/South America Discussion Agreement.”

   The agreement permits the carriers to discuss and voluntarily agree on rates and related matters in the trade between the U.S. Gulf and Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and Trinidad.
