U.S. Marines sign logistics deal with Agility

Agility Defense & Government Services said its Taos Industries subsidiary won a contract to store, distribute and maintain equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps at 15 bases within the United States and five others around the world.

      The contract from Marine Corps Logistics Command is potentially worth $140 million over seven years if all options are exercised, according to the Kuwaiti-based global logistics services provider. Its public sector arm is based in Alexandria, Va.

   Taos, Hunstville, Ala., will store, distribute and maintain Marine Corps field and infantry combat gear, as well as chemical and biological defense equipment.
