U.S. trade rep recovers from auto accident

   The Obama administration said U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk is recovering from minor injuries suffered during a car accident in Dallas on Wednesday.
   He was treated and released from a local hospital, and remains in Dallas with his family.
   Kirk has cancelled all immediate meetings and public events, including this week's planned trip to Sapporo, Japan, for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting of Ministers Related to Trade.
   Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Demetrios Marantis will lead the USTR delegation to the APEC meeting, joined by Michael Punke, U.S. ambassador to the World Trade Organization; and Assistant U.S. Trade Representative Wendy Cutler.
