U.S. Trade Representative considers Serbia, Montenegro for GSP status

   The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is considering duty free status on imports from Serbia and Montenegro under the Generalized System of Preferences.

   GSP is a program that grants duty-free treatment on specific products imported from more than 140 approved developing countries. The program was reauthorized in the United States under the 2002 Trade Act.
