Union Pacific unit targets used cars    A unit of Union Pacific Railroad that specializes in automobile transportation and logistic services is rebranding and making its services more available to used car shippers.
   UP said Insight Network Transportation has been rebranded as ShipCarsNow. It is part of Insight Network Logistics LLC, which provides logistics services to major auto manufacturers, moving nearly 3 million new vehicles annually across North America.
   “Until now, this network has not been readily available to used car shippers. ShipCarsNow was formed by Union Pacific to open up this robust transportation network to the remarketing and fleet industries,” the company said.
   Jeff Grandstaff, general manager of ShipCarsNow, said the company has a new Web site, shipcarsnow.com that “integrates rail and truck transport, providing our customers more options. The economics and value of rail means auto traders can buy and sell cars over longer distances and still maintain strong profit margins.'
