United renews U.K. cargo general sales agency contract with Globe
United Airlines has renewed its cargo general sales agency contract with ECS Globe Air Cargo in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Globe has worked for United since it first started services to London in 1991, and the airline now operates nine flights a day from London Heathrow.
Under terms of the new contract, Globe will be responsible for selling United's cargo capacity to freight forwarding customers in the Midlands and North of England as well as in Scotland and Ireland. Globe will also continue to manage U.K. reservations for United, handling in excess of 27,000 customer calls each year.
