United reported 174,945 system cargo ton miles in February. Freight increased 15.2 percent to 129,617 cargo ton miles, while mail increased 7.7 percent to 32,235 cargo ton miles.
For the year-to-date, United’s system cargo ton miles are up 15.4 percent over the first two months in 2004 at 315,228.
