United to increase China flights

United Airlines will ramp up its flights between San Francisco and Shanghai and Chengdu, China, from May 6 to Oct. 24.

   United Airlines will ramp up its flights between San Francisco and Shanghai and Chengdu, China, from May 6 to Oct. 24.
   Routings to Shanghai, which are currently offered daily, will be increased to two times each day using a Boeing 777-200; the Chengdu flight will be increased from three times each week to once per day using a Boeing 787-8.
   The changes are subject to regulatory approvals.
