Castagna was superintendent, transportation services of the Utah service unit. He is now responsible for more than 1,200 miles of track in southern California and replaces Tom Florence, who has left the company.
Lischer, who joined UP in 1995, takes on Castagna’s former role and is now responsible for 1,400 miles of track in Utah and portions of Nevada and Wyoming.
