UP speeds up
Union Pacific Railroad said it will increase freight train speeds on Nov. 2 by 10 mph to 40 mph through multiple grade crossings in Salt Lake City after recently completing track improvements there.
Salt Lake City is a key intersection on the UP network through which a large amount of Asian import traffic flows to the Midwest.
