“We apologize to our customers for any disruptions,” UPS Canada President Glenn Rice said in a statement. “With the immediate reinstatement of service, we are working closely with customers to meet their needs.”
Delivery guarantees are in effect for all packages picked up Wednesday.
The deal must still be ratified by the 3,800 Teamster package handlers and drivers. In October, workers rejected a deal between Mississauga, Ontario-based UPS Canada and Teamster Canada leaders.
