UPS expands Philippines air hub
UPS Philippines is expanding its Clark, Pampanga intra-Asia air hub, tripling its sorting capacity from 2,500 packages to 7,500 packages per hour.
UPS established the Philippines hub in 2002, and said it is now the company’s largest air hub in the Asia Pacific region.
UPS said its export volumes from the Philippines grew nearly 30 percent in the fourth quarter of 2004 over the same quarter in 2003.
