UPS LOGISTICS GROUP APPOINTS CIO

   UPS Logistics Group has appointed David Currence chief information officer, responsible for the company’s information technology business.

   Currence was CIO at Brightpoint Inc., a distributor of wireless devices. Prior that he was CIO for Wesco Distribution Inc.

   UPS Logistics Group is a subsidiary of Atlanta-based United Parcel Service Inc.
