UPS, LUCENT SIGN LOGISTICS DEAL FOR ASIA
UPS Worldwide Logistics Asia has reached agreement with Lucent
Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd. for a multi-million dollar logistics and
distribution agreement for Asia Pacific.
The unit of United Parcel Service Inc. will be responsible for
distribution, warehousing, order management and fulfillment, returns
management and inventory functions for warranty and repair support for
Lucent products in Asia.
UPSWLA will also manage a regional spare parts depot in Singapore and provide
other logistics services for Lucent, UPS said.
